Medtronic to acquire Scientia Vascular for $550M

Medtronic announced its agreement to acquire neurovascular technology company Scientia Vascular for $550 million, plus potential undisclosed milestone payments. This marks Medtronic’s second acquisition in 2026, following the CathWorks deal. Scientia Vascular specializes in neurovascular access devices used to treat strokes and aneurysms, and Medtronic expects the acquisition to enhance its neurovascular product portfolio and support a wider range of procedures.
