EIA significantly raises the forecast for this year's average prices of US and Brent crude oil

The EIA Short-Term Energy Outlook report shows that Brent crude oil prices are expected to be $78.84 per barrel in 2026, a significant increase; in 2027, it is expected to be $64.47 per barrel. WTI crude oil prices are projected to be $73.61 per barrel in 2026 and $60.81 per barrel in 2027.
