According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency on July 7, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesperson Naini said that over the past week, the Iranian military has struck more than 200 sensitive targets deployed by the United States and Israel in the Middle East. Naini stated that data shows since the outbreak of conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran, Iran has launched 600 missile attacks and 2,600 drone operations, accurately hitting and destroying over 200 sensitive targets within US military bases and important Israeli facilities. Naini also said that these operations destroyed seven advanced radars forming the regional air defense warning network, including the FPS-132 over-the-horizon radar system deployed at Qatar’s Udeid Air Base, known as “Desert Eye.” Naini indicated that these facilities are a crucial part of the US’s extensive monitoring, interception, and air defense network in the Middle East. With key radar systems destroyed, the US military’s monitoring and air defense capabilities in the region have been “severely damaged.”
