People often feel anxious and distressed not because of reality itself, but because we treat our interpretations, labels, and stories in our minds as absolute truth and cling to them — this is called "attachment to form." Once we realize that these are just subjective constructs rather than the world itself, a layer of space opens up between us and the world: we are no longer hostage to narratives of identity, evaluation, success, or failure. Letting go of this attachment, reality becomes like a game that can be observed and experienced, and as a result, the world becomes lighter, more interesting, and more playful.
