The Way is the direction; skill is adaptability; it is change. High and low make no difference; the difference lies in adaptability. Even if you’re high, buy low and sell high; if the direction is correct, it’s still correct.
Emotions are nodes; they are change, like fish in water (heat). When the water boils, the fish don’t realize they are already a delicacy on the dining table. Emotions are like boiling hot water, constantly changing. And you and I are that fish; emotions are turning points, always changing. Extremes lead to reversal.
The Way is the direction; it is the heart, the inner demon, your greed, your fear, your luck. With no bottom in the heart, operations follow the heart. I really like what the provider of the养家 said: Without a bottom, there is nothing to fear. The reason for fear is heavy positions, aggressive trading, floating gains, and adding to positions. Your chips are no longer within your psychological capacity. If they are outside the range, your mind remains calm; then who is chaotic? Retail investors always hold onto luck, fantasizing. Stock trading is a game of probabilities. 90% of retail investors are basically in full positions, unwilling to hold cash. They hope to double their money in a month, tenfold in a year. What is certainty? You won’t fear it; you won’t be afraid of it. When the opportunity comes, that is certainty.
