Shanghai Municipal Government held a press conference to introduce the progress of the first exhibition preparation and the development of the consumer electronics industry in the Oriental Hub International Business Cooperation Zone. Securities Times reporters learned from the event that the China Appliance and Consumer Electronics Expo (AWE) is one of the largest domestic home appliance and consumer electronics exhibitions. It will be held in Shanghai from March 12 to 15 this year, covering a total exhibition area of 170,000 square meters, with 1,200 companies participating. For the first time, a dedicated zone for the Shanghai Oriental Hub International Business Cooperation Zone will be set up. The exhibition area of the zone is 30,000 square meters, focusing on showcasing cutting-edge technological achievements. Leveraging the 15-minute direct access to Pudong Airport hub, overseas exhibits can be conveniently entered and returned after the exhibition, and overseas visitors can view exhibits immediately after disembarking.
