Explosion heard near Baghdad International Airport in Iraq
Explosions were heard near the Victory Camp base at Baghdad International Airport in Iraq on the evening of the 6th local time. Iraqi security officials said the base was attacked by five drones launched by the Iraqi militia group “Islamic Resistance Organization.” Additionally, Iraqi military sources reported that the Taji Air Force Base, located north of Baghdad, was hit by two Katyusha rockets that night. Both the Victory Camp and Taji Base previously housed U.S. personnel. (CCTV News)
