Gelonghui, March 4 — Wangneng Environment announced that the company will hold a board meeting on March 4, 2026, to review and approve the investment in the Indonesia Wajasi waste incineration power generation project. The total investment for the project will not exceed $180 million, approximately 1.244 billion RMB, accounting for 8.59% of the company’s most recent audited total assets and 18.62% of its net assets. The project involves building a 1,500-ton-per-day municipal waste incineration power plant in Wajasi, Indonesia, with an expected operational period of up to 30 years. The company plans to raise funds through 30% equity and 70% debt or equity financing. The main revenue will come from electricity sales at a rate of $0.20 per kWh. It is expected that upon completion, the project will enhance the company’s profitability.
