BNB Chain: Beacon Chain Token Recovery Tool to be phased out

BNB Chain announces the phased discontinuation of the BNB Beacon Chain token recovery tool. The first phase will end on April 30, 2026. Subsequent recovery processes will be handled manually. Only BEP2 tokens that have completed mirroring can be recovered; non-mirrored tokens cannot be recovered. Users are advised to migrate their assets as soon as possible.

According to an official announcement from BNB Chain, the BNB Beacon Chain token recovery tool will enter a phased deactivation process. This tool was previously used to migrate assets from the BNB Beacon Chain to BNB Smart Chain (BSC). The first phase runs from now until April 30, 2026, the second phase from May 1 to June 30, with processing time extended to about one month; starting July 1, the process will enter the third phase, where recovery will be handled manually and require user signatures. The announcement states that only BEP2 tokens that have been mirrored on BNB Smart Chain can be recovered; tokens that have not been mirrored cannot be recovered. BNB Chain reminds users holding BNB Beacon Chain assets to complete the migration using the recovery tool as soon as possible.
