Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has urged the public not to respond to suspicious calls or messages that falsely claim to represent official entities, as part of efforts to prevent cybercrime.

In a public notice posted on its official X platform on Wednesday evening, the ministry advised people to avoid opening unknown links or disclosing personal information, warning that such attempts exploit current circumstances by misusing the names of official institutions in the country.
