Energy and Power Global (01142.HK): Investors intend to provide up to HKD 1.5 billion equity financing to the company
GEM Global Yield LLC SCS (“Investor”) and GEM Yield Bahamas Limited (“GEMYB”) entered into a proposed financing term sheet with Energy and Power Global (01142.HK) on March 4, 2026. According to the term sheet, the investor expressed interest in providing up to HKD 1.5 billion in equity financing (“Indicative Financing”). The term sheet is for discussion purposes only. The investor and GEMYB reserve the right to withdraw the proposal at any time. Unless and until all parties sign definitive documents outlining the financing, no party is bound.
The Group believes that the Indicative Financing will provide additional funds to support its existing operations and future development. The financing is expected to be drawn down in multiple tranches, but the timing and amounts of each tranche have not yet been decided. If the first tranche is implemented, then: (i) approximately 50% will be used to repay debts (including but not limited to amounts payable to shareholders and related parties, as well as interest-bearing loans); (ii) approximately 25% will be used for South Korea trading operations and potential investments in several gas stations in South Korea; and (iii) the remaining approximately 25% will be used for general operational funds and future business development.
