Making money has never been about consumption.

I estimate that 99.9% of people in life don't understand this.
There are two sets of rules in life: one called giving, and the other called harvesting.
All the words and actions of everyone around you, half of them are just to trick your attention, your time, and your energy away.
You think everyone is working hard to live, but in reality, some people's "effort" is just trying to deceive you.
I've seen too many people earning a million a year, only to find their pockets three years later even emptier than right after graduation.
Why? Because they fall into a disease that only the poor get — vanity, showing off, greed.
These three things can blind you,
making you look busy like Brownian motion, but in fact, you're just wandering randomly, never reaching the end.
Yes, making money has never been about consumption. The purpose of earning money is to have money.
And then you never touch the principal again, living off the interest.
People you don't want to see, you never have to see again.
Calls you don't want to answer can ring until they hang up.
At 3 p.m., you’re still sunbathing on the balcony, not smiling in a meeting room.
This is the true value of money — it gives you a right called "no need."
No need to negotiate, no need to explain, no need to please.
Many people work their whole lives to earn money,
only to end up as someone else's paint,
all their labor results are painted on someone else's wall...
