Shì Wèizhōng, member of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate Party Leadership Group and Deputy Chief Procurator, announced at the press conference that the Supreme People’s Procuratorate has launched the “Food and Drug Safety Benefit Road” supervision campaign. From January to November 2025, a total of 24,029 public interest litigation cases related to food and drug safety were filed, accounting for 19% of all public interest litigation cases. The national procuratorial organs focused on prominent issues in new business formats related to food safety, conducting special supervision of community group-buy fresh food safety. They filed over 1,400 cases concerning community group-buy food safety, issued nearly 700 prosecutorial suggestions, supervised the rectification of various central warehouses, grid warehouses, and self-pickup points totaling over 31,000, and brought more than 51,000 warehouses and points under supervision.
