Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 2nd, according to Decrypt, South Korea's Minister of Strategy and Finance and Deputy Prime Minister Koo Yun-cheol announced a comprehensive reform of cryptocurrency management in government agencies. This move comes in response to the Seoul Gangnam District Police losing 22 bitcoins worth approximately $1.4 million due to not retaining private keys. The Ministry of Finance will work with the Financial Services Commission and other relevant agencies to review the management of digital assets held by government and public institutions through enforcement measures such as confiscation, and will quickly implement measures to enhance digital asset security. Currently, two suspects related to the police's lost bitcoin case have been arrested, and prosecutors are investigating possible bribery.
