At the start of 2026, along with listed companies intensively releasing their 2025 performance forecasts, institutional research has significantly accelerated, with many rushing to listed companies to explore industry prospects and prepare for investment deployment in the new year. Data shows that as of February 4, more than 700 A-share listed companies have received institutional research since the beginning of the year. Among them, over 20 companies have attracted more than a hundred institutions each for research. Industries such as electronics, machinery and equipment, and biomedicine are among the most frequently researched sectors, with power equipment and non-ferrous metals also receiving considerable attention. Journalists have observed that research institutions are conducting intensive inquiries around core topics such as business expansion, new product mass production, mergers and acquisitions, and fundraising progress.
