Wang Yi Meets with U.S. Secretary of State Blinken

Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with U.S. Secretary of State Blinken on the 13th during the Munich Security Conference. Wang Yi stated that we should jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, making 2026 a year for China and the U.S. to move toward mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation. Dialogue is better than confrontation, cooperation is better than conflict, and win-win is better than zero-sum. As long as both sides uphold equality, respect, and mutual benefit, they can find ways to address each other’s concerns and properly manage differences. Both sides should work together to continuously expand the cooperation list and narrow the issues list, steering China-U.S. relations onto a path of stability, health, and sustainable development, and send more positive signals to the world.
