Since the beginning of 2026, we have already recorded more than 13 cases of kidnappings and detentions targeting cryptocurrency holders or industry professionals in France.

Some have unfortunately resulted in success, others have been thwarted, but all indicate an extremely concerning trend.
⚠️ And it is very likely that we are far from knowing the full extent of these cases: many are not made public for security or confidentiality reasons.
The threat is no longer limited to hacks and online scams. It is now physical.
