Last week, Brazil soybean CNF premium and discount quotes declined
Last week, Trump announced on social media that our country would increase soybean purchases from the United States to 20 million tons this year. As a result, CBOT soybean futures surged, breaking above $11 per bushel, and the CNF premium/discount for Brazilian soybeans declined. On February 6, the CNF premium/discount for Brazilian soybeans exported to our country with shipping dates in April and May 2026 were 115 cents per bushel and 125 cents per bushel, respectively, both down 32 cents per bushel week-over-week.
