Trading cryptocurrencies for 8 years, I turned 7,000 yuan into 1 million USD. I didn't have insider information, nor did I hit a particularly crazy bull market. It was all thanks to a set of "simple methods," using them over and over again little by little.
In over 3,000 days, I only focused on one thing—treat trading like leveling up in a game. Stay patient and calm, and hone your skills.
Today, I want to share 6 solid insights with you. Understand one, and you can avoid losing tens of thousands; master three, and you'll be more stable than most retail investors.
First: Rapid rise and slow fall indicate the market maker is slowly accumulating.
A sharp surge followed by a slow decline is mostly a shakeout. Don't rush to cut losses. When it hits the top, it’s usually a sudden volume spike followed by a "crash" downward, trapping new buyers.
Second: Fast fall and slow rise mean the market maker is quietly distributing.
After a flash crash, the rebound is slow. Don't think it's a bargain opportunity; it’s very likely the last move.
Don’t think "it’s already fallen so much, where else can it go?" That mindset is the easiest way to get caught.

Third: Volume at the top doesn’t necessarily mean the end; no volume is a warning.
There’s still volume at high levels, which might push for another rally; quiet and no volume at the top is a sign of imminent collapse.
Fourth: Don’t rush into volume at the bottom; sustained volume is more reliable.
A single spike might just be bait to lure traders. First, let the price fluctuate for a while, then see several days of continuous volume—only then is it a real opportunity to build a position.
Fifth: Crypto trading is about manipulating human psychology; human sentiment is hidden in volume.
Candlestick charts show the result, but trading volume reveals the true emotion. Low volume means no one is playing; sudden volume spikes indicate genuine capital inflow.
Sixth: "Nothingness" is the real skill.
Don’t be obsessed; if it’s time to be out of the market, just exit. Don’t chase bottoms or panic. This isn’t about lying flat; it’s about mastering the trading mindset.
