CFA Society China reports on the 2025 annual self-regulatory inspection of securities company personnel management
The China Securities Industry Association recently announced the results of the 2025 self-regulatory inspection of securities firms’ personnel management, pointing out four typical issues in the implementation of new regulations, including inadequate understanding and enforcement of the “Management Rules,” insufficient standardization in personnel registration management, irregularities in professional reputation information management, and improper registration for personnel testing. The CSIA has taken self-regulatory measures, requiring the industry to rectify according to standards and improve management systems. Industry insiders believe that these issues reflect some securities firms’ shortcomings in the “compliance-first” transformation, emphasizing that strengthening the foundation of management has become an inevitable requirement for industry development.
