U.S. stock market's three major indices rose significantly on the 6th, with Nvidia up nearly 8%

People’s Financial News, February 7 — U.S. stock market indices rose significantly on the 6th. By the close of trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 50,115.67 points, surpassing the 50,000-point mark for the first time, with a gain of 2.47%; the S&P 500 index closed at 6,932.30 points, up 1.97%; the Nasdaq Composite closed at 23,031.21 points, up 2.18%. This week, the Dow gained a total of 2.5%, the Nasdaq fell by 1.84%, and the S&P 500 declined by 0.1%.

In the market, Nvidia rose nearly 8%, Tesla increased over 3%, Microsoft gained nearly 2%, and Apple rose 0.8%; Amazon dropped over 5%, Google fell over 2%, and Facebook declined over 1%. Chinese concept stocks mostly rose, with the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index up 3.71%, Century Internet up over 10%, land-controlled stocks up about 10%, Hesai Technology and Xiaoma Zhixing up over 9%, GDS Holdings up nearly 9%, NIO up over 7%, TAL Education up over 6%, Baidu up over 5%, Bilibili up over 4%, Alibaba and Pinduoduo up over 3%.
