Wu reported that Polymarket team member shampoo accused Kalshi of falsifying API data requests, inflating trading volume in the Esports category to $1.7 billion. However, the actual trading volume across all subcategories under that label totals approximately $63 million, representing an over 26-fold increase. Additionally, Kalshi also counted the CS market as both CS:GO and CS2 for double counting. Previously, the Kalshi team had accused Polymarket of double counting trading volume.
