The crypto market is undergoing a subtle shift. If the story of the past few years revolved around "how to trade," the current core issue has shifted to "what to trade."
Let's first look at the popularity of L2 solutions. Layer 2 projects like ARB and OP are extremely hot right now, seemingly solving the problem of transaction speed. But this is just surface-level. The real bottleneck in the real economy is never about how fast transactions are, but whether assets can truly circulate.
There is a technological breakthrough worth noting— the DLT-TSS protocol. What does this do? It directly embeds compliance into the code. In other words, it creates an on-chain combination of a "transparent investment bank" and an "automated clearinghouse."
Why is RWA (Real-World Assets) so complex? Essentially, there are three main challenges:
**The balance between privacy and regulation** — Corporate equity data needs to be transparent enough for regulators but also protect trade secrets. This requires robust zero-knowledge proof technology as a safeguard.
**Access thresholds** — Unlike permissionless DeFi, RWAs must handle KYC and AML at the protocol level, with strict identity verification.
**Liquidity reshaping** — Once real-world assets are truly integrated with trading platform liquidity, retail participants will receive actual returns rather than just engaging in price speculation.
We may be standing at a watershed moment. The market is waking up: performance optimization alone can no longer bring new innovations. The only way forward is to embrace real assets.
