#比特币储备战略 I recently came across some crazy news: Venezuela has accumulated a $60 billion "shadow reserve" of Bitcoin??? I was completely stunned 🤯
After looking into the details, I realized that this has been gradually accumulated since 2018 through gold swaps and oil trade, with an estimated maximum of over 600,000 BTC. Just imagine, if they had bought Bitcoin when it was between $3,000 and $10,000 and held onto it until now... the appreciation would be incredible.
But what intrigues me the most is—where exactly are these Bitcoins stored? How are they stored? The reports mention "cold wallets" and "multi-signature," which sounds a lot like some large holders implementing complex security measures. I even imagined: if a national-level asset needs to use cryptocurrency to evade sanctions, doesn't that also reflect an increasing status of Bitcoin as a store of value?
Another question keeps circling in my mind—such a massive asset flow, could it impact the entire Bitcoin market? If this money truly enters or exits the market, could it cause waves like the legendary "whale" movements?
Can someone knowledgeable help me explain? Are national Bitcoin reserves and the holdings of ordinary investors the same in logic? What lessons does this have for us small retail investors?
