When it comes to ETH's 4-hour trend, we still need to carefully analyze the next steps.
Let's first take a look at the current market situation. From the 4-hour candlestick chart, after the price slowly broke below the lower boundary of the ascending channel, it is now stuck at this critical level, with bulls and bears fighting fiercely here. Our average cost for adding positions is around 3150 — this is not only a psychological support but also a key area for short-term defense and attack. There is an interesting signal here: the RSI indicator shows a clear bullish divergence — the price made a new low, but RSI did not follow with a new low. This indicates that the downward momentum is gradually weakening, and a rebound might be brewing.
Based on this judgment, our main strategy for this wave is to bet on a rebound after the channel break. The first target is in the 3250 to 3270 range — this was a previous accumulation zone and a crucial resistance level that must be retested and confirmed after the breakout. At this point, the reaction of volume and price will be very important.
There are two possible scenarios for the follow-up.
If the price rebounds to 3250-3270 but shows signs of stagnation or resistance, we will gradually reduce our positions and lock in the gains from this rebound.
Conversely, if the price strongly breaks through 3270 and stabilizes above it, we will wait and see. But there is an even more critical contingency — if the rebound loses momentum and the price starts to decline again, our focus shifts to 3050. This level is very special; it’s a round number and also a previous low support. Whether the price can stabilize here, and whether volume and price action cooperate, will determine if we can re-enter.
The most important point: the market never moves in a predictable manner, so risk control discipline must be strict. Currently, the best approach is to stay calm and wait for the market to give clearer signals at key levels. Trading is not gambling; it’s about acting in high-probability zones with preparation. Stay attentive and take it step by step.
