#代币分配与空投机制 I just saw the airdrop news about DJT and Crypto.com, and I’m a bit confused, but also super curious🤔
So, to keep it simple—DJT shareholders can receive one new digital token for every share they hold, distributed via the Cronos chain. Doesn’t that sound a bit like traditional equity rewards but using blockchain technology? What shocked me the most is that this token is actually **non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash**😅, so where does its value come from?
After taking a closer look, I realized that its main value lies in benefits—shareholders can exchange the tokens for discounts and exclusive privileges on Truth Social or Truth+. This seems a bit like a membership card concept, but wrapped in a token?
But it’s also quite interesting. This shows that traditional companies are seriously embracing crypto. As a complete newbie, I want to ask everyone—what’s the fundamental difference between these non-transferable tokens and the tradable tokens we see on exchanges? I feel like I need to understand this difference better to grasp the various future airdrops🙏
