nOctra has recently gained popularity. What are its main selling points? Essentially, it’s a project that has developed an L1 public chain based on homomorphic encryption, using a self-developed hypergraph cryptography scheme. The mainnet alpha was launched in mid-December, and the performance data looks promising—reporting a throughput of 17,000 TPS and handling over 100 million transactions.

It sounds impressive, but we need to take a closer look. There are quite a few considerations when it comes to risks. First, this cryptography scheme has not undergone independent audits, which is a major concern. Cryptographic algorithms are critical—any small vulnerability can be fatal. The team has even publicly disclosed some vulnerabilities found during the proof-of-concept stage. Additionally, the project has no revenue yet, but its valuation has already soared to $200 million. The bubble size is something to be aware of.

There are also two pitfalls: one is the somewhat turbulent fundraising history, with multiple delays in the ICO, which understandably impacts investor confidence; the other is the regulatory environment, which remains entirely uncertain. Large-scale encrypted computations currently lack clear regulatory frameworks worldwide. How far projects like nOctra can go remains unpredictable.

Overall, this is a technically cutting-edge project, but from an investment perspective, the risks and opportunities are equally significant.

17,000 TPS is hyped up quite a bit, but daring to go live on the mainnet without an audit? Who gave you the guts... I knew this broken project wouldn't work after ICO kept being delayed. The money has already gone in, what else can happen? A $200 million valuation with zero revenue—it's a classic story told better than the technology itself. Self-developing cryptographic solutions is fine, but publicly revealing vulnerabilities? Is this honesty or helplessness? Without even a regulatory framework, just rushing in—what's this if not gambling? It looks impressive, but in reality, it's just a PPT project.

17000TPS sounds impressive, but I really can't understand unverified cryptographic schemes—when will I dare to invest? --- A $200 million valuation with zero revenue—are they buying technology or just a story? --- Delaying ICO again and again, yet still boasting—this kind of confidence is just gone. --- Regulatory framework isn't out yet, so innovative projects are stepping on landmines—this order of things is interesting. --- Homomorphic encryption sounds amazing, but even the official admits there are vulnerabilities—do you dare to take over? --- Performance data looks good but isn't enough; without an audit, it's like gambling with your life—I won't bet. --- 1 billion transactions, 17,000 TPS, but where is the security of this cryptographic scheme? It's all in the PP. --- Funding has been so turbulent; better to see how long the mainnet can run before making a decision. --- Frontier technology is just that—frontier. With such high risks, even with big opportunities, I have to think twice.

17,000 TPS sounds great, but I really don't dare to touch cryptographic schemes without audits. --- $200 million valuation with zero revenue, this bubble worships it. --- Homomorphic encryption is still in exploration, and nOctra dares to develop their own scheme? Bold move. --- You can tell a lot just by how many times the ICO has been postponed. Does this team have any idea if they're reliable? --- It's pretty outrageous to keep hyping up concepts after they’ve already failed in validation. --- Entering without a regulatory framework in place, truly a gambler's mentality. --- Cutting-edge technical concepts are indeed advanced, but the risks involved are really not small. --- Why is there no independent audit? Is it because the auditors are afraid? --- 1 million transactions sound like a lot, but with no revenue, the valuation skyrocketed—laughable.

Homomorphic encryption sounds impressive, but daring to go live on the mainnet without an audit? That’s really bold. --- 17,000 TPS sounds great, a $200 million valuation with no revenue—who calculated this? --- Self-developed cryptography solutions have had vulnerabilities exposed before. Am I a bit scared? --- ICO keeps getting delayed; investors should have already run away. --- No regulatory framework and still messing around—what is this if not gambling? --- While technology is cutting-edge, the risk is really hard to bear. --- Daring to go live without an independent audit of the encryption algorithms? I wouldn’t dare to touch it. --- Full of bubble vibes, just waiting to see who ends up holding the bag.

Homomorphic encryption sounds fancy, but how can there be a $200 million valuation without an audit? Man, that’s quite a story. ICO keeps getting delayed but still manages to raise funds. I just don’t understand. I’ve seen this trick too many times. 17000 TPS on paper is one thing, but what can actually be used is another. Let’s wait and see the real network stress test.

No audit? That’s basically gambling with your life. A bug in cryptography could directly wipe everything out.
