For the past 10 years, you've been told gas fees are just something you have to live with. That narrative is starting to look outdated.

The truth? You don't actually need traditional gas mechanics at all.

NEAR's Intent-based model is changing how transactions work. Instead of users front-loading fees, the system handles execution and settlement differently—making things smoother for everyone. It's a fundamental rethink of what a transaction should look like.

If you've been frustrated by gas economics on other networks, it might be worth understanding how Intent-based architectures actually solve the problem at the protocol level rather than just slapping a workaround on top.

Someone finally spoke out, it's time to change the way we talk about gas fees.

Being brainwashed for 10 years is truly incredible. Only now do I realize that gas fees are not really a necessity. Sounds good, but can NEAR's intent model really eliminate gas, or is it just a new bottle with old wine? Solving at the protocol layer > patching and fixing, I agree with this.

Hmm... NEAR's intent model sounds good, but whether it can really be implemented effectively remains to be seen.

Someone finally said it, I've really had enough of gas fees after ten years... Wait, does this intent-based approach really work, or is it just another hype concept... Near's recent move is indeed interesting, much more appealing than those patchwork solutions. Solving at the protocol layer > remedial measures afterward, this logic makes sense. Let's give it a try, anyway, gas is ridiculously expensive right now.

It's been ten years, and finally someone dares to say that the gas fee system isn't working. NEAR's recent move definitely has some substance.

Honestly, we've been enduring gas fees for ten years. Is anyone seriously thinking about how to solve it now? It's a bit late, brother.
