According to Bloomberg, Figure Technology Solutions Inc announced the launch of the on-chain public equity network OPEN, allowing enterprises to issue on-chain stocks representing real equity on their Provenance blockchain. Investors can directly lend and borrow stocks without relying on traditional intermediaries; Figure plans to initially issue its own equity through OPEN, and the related equity tokens will be traded on its decentralized trading platform. The company stated that there is interest from companies including Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) in the platform.
