#资产安全与补偿 The recent attack on Flow actually indirectly confirms the importance of Web3 security construction. The $3.9 million loss is indeed shocking, but what’s worth noting is — **users’ existing deposits are completely safe**.

The underlying logic is crucial: attackers exploited vulnerabilities at the execution layer, rather than directly invading user assets. This indicates that Flow’s fund custody design is relatively isolated, and user balances are not threatened. At the same time, the official quick response also offers hope — a fix has been released, the attacker has been tracked, and fund freezing requests are underway.

We often say that decentralization is the future, but security is the prerequisite. Every attack incident is the cost of ecosystem maturity, and also an opportunity for builders to continuously reinforce defenses. The performance of the Flow Foundation proves that when risks arise, a transparent, swift, and responsible attitude is more important than anything else.

Compared to traditional finance’s opaque operations, the traceability, verifiability, and remedial mechanisms of the blockchain ecosystem are gradually proving the resilience of decentralized systems. Trust is not blind, but built on continuous testing and improvement. Difficulties will come, but we are steadily building a safer Web3 world.
