The US stock market has recently remained hot. The three major indices advanced together, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 both hitting record highs. The S&P 500 closed up 10.99 points at 6977.27, a 0.16% increase; the Dow rose 86.13 points to 49590.20; the Nasdaq increased by 62.558 points to 23733.904.
Tech giants showed mixed performance. Google A shares rose 1% to close at $331.86, with a market capitalization surpassing $4 trillion. TSMC increased by 2.52% to $331.77, reaching a new closing high. Oracle, Broadcom, AMD, and other chip-related companies also performed well. In contrast, Meta declined significantly, down 1.7%.
Chinese concept stocks were exceptionally active, with the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index soaring 4.3%. Kingsoft Cloud surged nearly 21%, and popular stocks like Zhihu, Alibaba, and Xpeng all increased by over 8%.
In commodities, spot gold prices surged close to the $4600 mark, and silver futures saw an even higher increase of 7.6%.
