South Korea Officially Opens Crypto Investment Businesses After 9 Years

🔹 The Financial Services Commission of South Korea (FSC) allows listed companies and professional investors to trade crypto

🔹 Businesses can invest up to 5% of their equity capital annually, limited to the top 20 cryptocurrencies across 5 major exchanges

🔹 Approximately 3,500 organizations will be eligible to participate once the regulation takes effect

🔹 This move is part of the 2026 growth strategy, linked to domestic stablecoins and Spot Bitcoin ETFs

🔹 Previously, the ban resulted in nearly 100% of the market being retail investors and caused capital outflows of about $52 billion USD
