Stock tokenization track heats up, HabitTrade raises nearly $10 million to accelerate RWA settlement deployment

【BlockBeats】Stock tokenization and on-chain settlement have indeed been making waves recently. HabitTrade just secured nearly $10 million in Series A funding, led by Newborn Town Inc., with Bright Venture Capital and StableStock participating. This funding came at a quite opportune time.

Honestly, the company’s direction aligns very well with current Web3 hotspots. Since its founding in 2021, HabitTrade has been focused on one thing—bringing the traditional finance world and digital assets together. They offer an integrated brokerage service covering trading, settlement, and custody, using stablecoins to handle offshore financial asset settlements, while also promoting the tokenization and on-chain settlement of real-world assets (RWA).

With this round of funding, HabitTrade plans to do three things: expand the brokerage business, strengthen compliance (which is very critical), and accelerate their international expansion. It’s important to note that the RWA track has now shifted from concept to real infrastructure competition. Those who can improve settlement efficiency, lower costs, and ensure compliance will gain a first-mover advantage in this wave. HabitTrade clearly aims to seize this window.

The tokenization of stocks is about to take off again, right? But the RWA settlement part still feels quite complex. HabitTrade's recent funding went smoothly, but I wonder if the stablecoin settlement system will encounter issues in practical applications. Real money has come in; let's see how they handle it. Wait, what are these three things again? The title didn't finish mentioning them. It seems to be the same old narrative of integrating traditional finance with blockchain, a topic everyone talks about every year, but how many actually get implemented? Nearly ten million USD is not small, but the regulatory pressure on RWA is also quite high. One misstep could turn into a "money down the drain" story.

Stock tokenization is back again, every time it sounds so exciting, but what’s the result... RWA on-chain settlement indeed has potential, but how many can truly be implemented? HabitTrade’s recent funding looks promising, but I wonder if it’s just another PPT dream. The "bridging" between traditional finance and Web3 is easy to talk about but hard to do. Nearly ten million dollars sounds like a lot, but how long can it sustain in this track? How will offshore assets pass regulatory scrutiny for stablecoin settlement? This direction is correct, but I’m worried it’s more about hype than practical application. With the funding boom coming, it all depends on who can survive to the next round.

RWA is indeed hot right now, but whether HabitTrade can truly be implemented still depends on the outcome. Hopefully it's not just another fundraising story; raising money is easy, spending it is hard, haha. Traditional finance doing on-chain settlement sounds great, but in practice... Stablecoin settlement for offshore assets is also a game of policy boundaries. I believe in the tokenization of stocks, but there are quite a few competitors. This fundraising amount is pretty average; in the RWA track, who wouldn't want a share?

RWA is indeed hot right now, but it seems that only a few projects can truly be implemented. HabitTrade has a good idea—bringing traditional finance onto the blockchain. Hmm... Ten million USD isn't that much. How long can it last? How do you ensure compliance when settling offshore assets with stablecoins? Can this really work? Since 2021, I've been working quietly for so long, but fundraising has been a bit slow. Tokenization of stocks sounds great, but is there really market demand? Or is it just another round of hype?

10 million USD, RWA is really about to take off. It's not too late to get in now. Stablecoin settlement of offshore assets... this idea is interesting, and the connection between traditional finance and blockchain has finally been found. HabitTrade's fundraising pace is quite good; now let's see if they can really make a move later on. Wait, they haven't even said how they plan to do it? Just raising funds isn't enough; it depends on real progress with actual money. RWA tokenization is shouted about every day, but how many have actually been successfully implemented? Let's watch and see.

I have to say, the RWA track is indeed heating up. HabitTrade's recent funding round was quite well-timed. --- On-chain traditional finance is easier to talk about than to implement. The key still depends on whether the settlement can truly be realized. --- Almost ten million USD—what kind of scale is this in the RWA track? It seems like more funding will be needed later. --- Handling stablecoins for offshore asset settlement—I've seen this idea several times. Few can really carve out a niche in this area. --- Planning to do three things, huh? I bet five dollars that it will ultimately be too busy to handle all. Focusing on one thing might be more reliable. --- When will the regulatory hurdle for tokenizing stocks be crossed?

Regarding RWA tokenization, it still depends on actual implementation; raising funds is easy, but truly running smoothly is difficult. It's not that HabitTrade doesn't work; it's just that this sector is currently too hot, and everyone wants a piece of the pie. Stablecoin settlement for offshore assets? Sounds good, but what about regulation? Whether this round of funding can truly open up the market, we'll see in half a year. I'm still somewhat reserved about the idea of bringing stocks on-chain. With millions in funding, where is the real killer application for RWA? As for Web3 financial infrastructure, who will ultimately come out on top is still uncertain.
