So-called 'wrench attacks' are becoming increasingly common in the crypto space. Here's what you need to know to protect yourself.
Physical coercion targeting crypto holders is a real and growing concern. Attackers specifically target individuals they believe are holding significant digital assets.
Key protection strategies:
• Keep your holdings low-profile — don't advertise your crypto position publicly or on social media • Diversify storage locations — avoid keeping all assets in one place • Use multi-signature setups where possible to require multiple approvals • Maintain operational security (OpSec) in your daily life • Consider separating your online presence from your financial reality
The threat is unfortunately real and on the rise. Taking basic precautions now can save you serious trouble down the road.

I've heard a lot about the ngl wrench attack... To put it simply, don't be that guy bragging online about having coins. Staying low-key is the way to go.

Honestly, I've been prepared for that wrench attack for a long time... Pretending to be poor on social media has become a habit.

Wrench attack is really no joke. Someone in my circle of friends has been targeted before. Now, no one dares to loudly claim they are holding coins.
It's really important to stay low-key, especially those guys who constantly show off their assets—serves them right to be targeted.
Multi-signature should have been popularized long ago. Single signatures are just too risky.

Wrench attack sounds pretty scary... but to be honest, staying low-key is the way to go. I've never revealed my holdings.

Wrench attack is indeed scary, but to be honest, most people don't have that level to be targeted... it's better to stay low-key.
