The Ethereum ecosystem has some genuinely solid projects, but many tokens on Solana that get hyped up are basically bundled garbage waiting to happen. A lot of those SOL-based projects lack real fundamentals—they're riding hype waves with hollow utility. The rug pull risk on some of these is substantial. If you're comparing token quality across chains, ETH tends to have more established projects with actual use cases, whereas the Solana side has a higher concentration of speculative bets that could unwind badly.

Solana really has a one-stop service for cutting leeks, with a mountain of worthless tokens piled up.

That bunch of projects in Sol are mostly vaporware, waiting to be cut off.
