The Web3 gaming sector continues to see new developments. Nakamoto Games first showcased a live demo of their latest mobile game "Trick or Seek" in early January. After eight months of secret development, the game is set to officially launch next week. At the same time, emerging project Azuki Escape also announced that its game will go live at the end of January, making it a noteworthy early project.
Blockchain gaming infrastructure is also upgrading. NEXUS CEO recently released a strategic plan for 2026, clearly positioning CROSS as a dedicated blockchain for gaming. The CROSS Shop and Pay features within its ecosystem will gradually expand to other Web3 gaming platforms. Interestingly, the team plans to enter the Web2 market with a zero-fee stablecoin payment solution, which could gradually lower the technical barriers for blockchain gaming experiences.
The integration of Web3 and DeFi is also deepening. Mini-game platform PlasOut has partnered with Blazpay AI to simplify DeFi operations through AI smart assistants and mini-games. It is reported that PlasOut has achieved a valuation of $70 million, with over 110,000 downloads, indicating that this integration approach is gaining market recognition.
