Open-source tools definitely lower the barriers, but the real risk still lies in security audits... I haven't tested whether multi-signature wallets might have vulnerabilities.

Open-source tools are really awesome, saving effort and reliable. However, modular architecture sounds simple, but during actual debugging, you realize what a "pit" really is.
