Entering the circle with one thought: quick profit. Friends boast extravagantly, saying Web3 is a wealth-building machine, and I followed the trend to get in.

The thrill of the contract really excites me, staying up at night staring at the K-line. I have indeed bought the dip before; I’ve seen coins that multiply several times in a day, and that happiness is unparalleled. But the dream of a hundredfold coin has always just been a dream, and most of the time I missed it.

Stories of wealth creation like A8, A9 are everywhere, pounding my mind with a buzzing noise. Watching people around me successfully buy the dip, that gap in my heart—worrying about gains and losses, nothing feels exciting anymore.

The final outcome is one sentence: amplify desire, amplify leverage, and in the end, only zero awaits me. What I lost was not just the principal, but more frighteningly, I lost the most basic understanding and respect for the market.

That's the gambler's mentality. Watching others make money makes your mind go blank.

Basically, it's greed causing the trouble. Leverage is really a poison.

To be honest, this is a typical example of exceeding risk thresholds. Once leverage is used, private keys can't be secured, let alone asset allocation. I've seen it all along; on-chain analysis data is right there, and most people are just greed-driven, going all in without even reviewing contract audits. True value investing involves calmly holding your chips, not following the hype of stories like A8A9.

This is the cost of greed. Getting addicted to leverage truly makes it hard to turn back.

Honestly, leverage is just poison; the more you use it, the more addictive it becomes.

This guy speaks so clearly; everyone around me is like this.

Just thinking about doubling, who would have thought about going to zero?

Seeing so many margin calls around me, it really is a bit frightening.

I should have realized long ago that greed never leads to a good outcome.
