According to a report by Jinse Finance, IBM will acquire data streaming platform Confluent Inc. for approximately $9.3 billion, making it one of the largest acquisitions in its history and a major bet on enterprise software required for real-time execution of AI tools. According to a statement released on Monday, IBM will acquire Confluent at $31 per share. The statement said the enterprise value, including debt, is $11 billion. Both parties expect the deal to be completed by mid-2026.
