Current mainstream CEX and DEX funding rates indicate that the market remains bearish.
On December 4, according to Coinglass data, Bitcoin and the crypto market have recently started a rapid rebound, once surpassing $94,000. However, current funding rates on major CEXs and DEXs indicate that the market remains bearish. The specific funding rates for mainstream tokens are shown in the attached chart. BlockBeats note: Funding rates are fees set by cryptocurrency trading platforms to maintain a balance between contract prices and the underlying asset prices, usually applied to perpetual contracts. It is a capital exchange mechanism between long and short traders; the exchange does not collect this fee. It is used to adjust the cost or yield of holding contracts for traders, keeping contract prices close to the underlying asset prices. When the funding rate is 0.01%, it indicates the base rate. When the funding rate is greater than 0.01%, it means the market is generally bullish. When the funding rate is less than 0.005%, it means the market is generally bearish.
