I recently took a look at the Definitive project and found it quite interesting.

It's an on-chain trading infrastructure that aggregates liquidity scattered across multiple chains into one place and executes trades via the optimal route. So basically, you can experience centralized exchange-level execution quality while using a DEX, which is definitely something needed in a multichain environment.

Liquidity fragmentation has been a chronic weakness of DeFi, but the increase in projects approaching the problem this way seems beneficial for the ecosystem’s development.

Solving liquidity fragmentation doesn’t make them all the same, but I think we need to see what the actual slippage is for this one.

Haha, yet another project aiming to solve liquidity fragmentation. I'm optimistic about it. People have been pointing out this pain point three years ago, and now there are finally some decent solutions. Can DEXs catch up to centralized exchanges in terms of user experience? Seems a bit unlikely, but having the right direction is already half the battle.

That's right, someone is finally taking liquidity fragmentation seriously and working to solve this pain point... But I've seen this approach from Definitive too many times before, and they all ended up failing at execution. Let's see if they can actually deliver on their promises this time.

Sounds okay, but is the claim about centralized exchange-level experience really true? DEXs still have slippage after all; to put it bluntly, it's just packaged nicely.
