honestly peaq's ecosystem has been one of my top picks lately
but gotta say something that's been bugging me
during their second incentive season, some tasks just weren't working properly
i drove around with that map-to-earn app, recorded environmental data on that noise tracking platform, completed everything they asked for
yet the system didn't register half of what i did
spent time and effort on these DePIN applications expecting rewards, ended up with incomplete credit
still bullish on the project long-term, but the user experience needs serious improvement
these kinds of technical issues during reward campaigns can really hurt community trust
not saying it's intentional but the data doesn't lie lol
The feeling of working hard for nothing is indeed unpleasant. In the long run, peaq has potential, but bugs in this campaign stage can directly shake community confidence. This needs to be taken seriously.
The occurrence of registration failure during the incentive season indicates that their oracle layer or backend verification logic still needs to be refined. We can't just shout bullish; the infrastructure has to be solid.
Oh, wait, I just want to ask—did they compensate later? Or did they just sweep this bug under the rug? This is crucial.
DePIN applications are inherently prone to this feeling of drift; task verification and data on-chain are both pitfalls. If peaq really wants to break out, they need to solidify the UX details.
Technically speaking, if this failure rate exceeds 5%, it will indeed reflect on user retention. Where is the data?
But on another note, at least you recorded all completed tasks; those data aren’t lost, right? Can we still dispute later?
