Recently discovered an interesting phenomenon.
Everyone is talking about the L2 performance battle, with 100,000 TPS here and 200,000 TPS there. In the end, it turns out that the current processing speed is actually sufficient. The real bottleneck? It's not the technology, it's human nature.
Simply put, it's about how to divide the benefits.
Think about it, the traditional L2 model is basically like this: the project party sets up the stage, and developers and users come to perform, but all the box office revenue goes into the project party's pocket. This logic sounds awkward.
The Syndicate project caught my eye because it captures a key term - Alignment.
In simple terms: everyone works together, and the profits are distributed according to contribution. It's not that I build the road and you pay, but rather that we partner to build the road and collect money together. Once this model is successfully implemented, the vitality of the ecosystem will be on a completely different level.
Technical parameters can be optimized gradually, but if the profit distribution mechanism is wrong from the start, no matter how much you try to fix it later, it will be nonsense. This is the underlying logic that determines how far a chain can go.
The idea of a Syndicate is indeed quite interesting, but can it really be implemented? With so many "aligned" promises in the crypto world, isn’t it just a mess in the end?
Wait, isn’t this just the old tune of Decentralization being played again? Why does it feel like after so many years it’s still just a castle in the air?
But can the syndicate really run smoothly? It remains to be seen.
The technology has long been sufficient; the key is who takes the big share.
I agree with this logic, but will the actual operation be a different story?
Building the road together sounds nice, but I’m afraid in the end, it’s still the project party that makes money.
It sounds great to partner up to build roads and share the earnings, but in practice, it all comes down to the team's integrity.
Is this Syndicate thing just another new concept hype? I find it a bit off-putting.
Those TPS numbers are already outdated; who still pays attention to that?
Aligning interests sounds easy but is hard to execute. Let's wait and see how it plays out.
Even if the underlying logic is right, it won't work without genuine ecological demand to support it.
