Today, let's talk about a very practical new feature by @build_on_bob on Unichain, which allows you to convert BTC to wBTC with one click.
The entire process requires only one on-chain transaction: the user sends native BTC while carrying the conversion intent, and the BOB Gateway will verify the transaction through a three-layer mechanism of solver, relayer, and bridge, executing the conversion securely on-chain.
The final result is wBTC on the Unichain L2 network, which is faster, cheaper, and can directly participate in DeFi.
The entire process is not a simple bridging: the native BTC undergoes partial signing and OP_RETURN data processing by the solver and relayer, and then generates the corresponding wBTC on Unichain through the LayerZero OFT mechanism.
This means that BTC has truly entered the composable DeFi world from a static asset.
The liquidity of Bitcoin is being reactivated.
