What's wild is how long it took for this to click. Nobody wants their financial moves on display—not individuals, definitely not businesses. Companies need to keep transactions under wraps from competitors. Regular folks don't want neighbors tracking their wallet.

The transparency everyone celebrated early on? Turns out it's also the thing keeping institutional money and mainstream users on the sidelines. Can't have mass adoption when every transaction is a public spectacle.
