U.S. Senate Budget Chairman: Trump's "Beautiful Healthcare Plan" may be cut, plans to introduce branch bills for incremental progress.

On June 10, Semafor reported that Republican Graham, chairman of the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, is preparing for a scenario where key provisions of Trump’s “Big Beautiful Act” could be cut, with the solution being to introduce other tax cuts and spending cuts to advance the goal step by step. Graham said that the current legislation is not final, and if necessary, it is expected that there could be three partisan bills in total: “We try to reach a compromise on this bill first, and then we have two more bills to move forward. The president wants to implement policies such as tax exemptions for tips and overtime. All of this may be difficult to fully incorporate into the bill. That’s why we’re going to introduce the biggest bill the market can afford, but we also need to understand that more bills will be introduced. How much more can be done at this stage of the process is the core challenge for senators.”
