European Central Bank President Lagarde: The French president is a terrible job, not suitable for me.

Jin10 data reported on October 5th that European Central Bank President Lagarde downplayed her ambitions to become the next President of France. When asked if she would consider taking on the position, Lagarde stated, "I think it's a terrible job — I think you have to have a certain desire for this job, but I don't, really." Lagarde's eight-year term at the European Central Bank will last until October 2027, and she is not eligible for re-election. Macron's term as President of France will also end in the same year, although a few months earlier.
