Iranian Foreign Minister Calls for the Establishment of a "US-Intervention-Free" Collective Security Mechanism

ME News, April 26 (UTC+8). Iran’s Foreign Minister, Araghchi, called on regional countries to establish a “collective security mechanism free from U.S. interference.” On the same day, Araghchi said during a meeting with Omani Sultan Haitham in Muscat, the capital of Oman, that Iran’s experience shows that the U.S. military presence in regional countries would only lead to turmoil and division in the region. He called on regional countries to jointly build an autonomous collective security mechanism “without U.S. interference.” (Source: PANews)
