Late at night checking on the blockchain, I see whales move and someone rushes to follow the order.


Now I prefer to pause for three seconds first…
The same large transaction, sometimes it's slowly building a position, or it might just be using spot to hedge futures, the direction looks scary but actually it's "locking in volatility."
I usually first check if there are any batch trades before and after, if the position has been transferred into the exchange, and if the other side has opened a reverse position at the same time, otherwise following blindly can easily turn into helping others lift the market or getting washed out.
Recently, hardware wallets are out of stock, phishing links are everywhere, and the more emotional the market gets, the more you shouldn't rush to click links or chase addresses…
Anyway, I prefer to take it slow, understand the path and intent clearly before taking action.
