Trump recounts details of the dinner shooting incident
Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 26 — At a press conference held on April 25 local time, President Trump of the United States stated in response to a reporter’s question that the sudden incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner was “completely shocking.” He heard a noise but thought it was a tray falling to the ground. “I was observing the situation at the time,” but his wife ducked faster and seemed to realize what was happening quickly.
Trump said he hopes to continue the dinner and promised to reschedule it as soon as possible. Trump stated that he had not received any threat briefings prior to the dinner. He also mentioned the previous assassination attempt against him and called on the American people to “resolve their differences.” He also noted that members of both parties condemned the incident that night. Trump further expressed gratitude to the media, saying the media “performed very responsibly in their reporting.” (CCTV International News)
